Many solutions currently exist for addressing workplace substance abuse and fatigue, however, there is not one single method that dominates in the market with each solution not adequately addressing all the required elements of the workplace accident prevention market. Sobereye is a relatively new company based in California with a unique and innovative alternative to the current solutions in the marketplace, which include drug testing and fitness for duty tests. With the capability to provide impairment risk for an employee being monitored for any cause of impairment, including any type of substance or fatigue, while also providing an improved level of privacy, Sobereye has a great opportunity to lead the change in workplace safety. In this project, we aim to understand the impaired injury prevention industry and offer suggestions and predictions about the future with Sobereye as our client.
