Developmental expression of NaN and SNS in DRG neurons

Public

The purpose of this project was to investigate the expression of two types of sodium channels in the development of dorsal root ganglion neurons in rats. NaN and SNS probes were used for in situ hybridization of tissue sections over the course of development. The results suggest that the differential expression of these two channels may regulate the expression of TTX-R channels throughout development.
