Platform migration -- text files to Oracle using Java

Public

This report, prepared for Teradyne Connection Systems in Nashua, NH, explains the process by which we created a prototype Oracle database for them. This database is designed to mirror a text file (ITEC) currently used by Teradyne to store production data for a specific job. We wrote a Java program to read and parse this file in order to place the data into SQL insert statements, which are used to load the tables.
