This report will describe the process used to develop a low cost, high quality digital imaging picture frame. A market research study done on existing imaging devices combined with the understanding of display technologies, storage media, and JPEG decompression was used to determine the design specifications of the device. It is anticipated that such a low cost imaging device would have a strong position in the market, providing customers with a cheap and easy way of displaying their digital images.
