In collaboration with the City of Santa Fe Water Department, we developed sets of multimedia designed to inform civilians on their water. Currently, there is a lack of communication between the city and the citizens. This results in concerns over how the water is treated locally, if it is properly treated, and what steps are taken to ensure that the water is safe and potable. We participated in tours of local water treatment plants, meetings at the water department, archival research, and semi-structured interviews with Santa Fe water officials. From this, collected information on water treatment processes and the history of the water in the city. This information was used to create educational videos and storyboards that we provided to the Santa Fe Water Department.
