Adaptive home automation
PublicCan a home be intelligent? Can the tediousness of everyday tasks essentially be removed from our lives by a home that makes decisions and acts as humans do? Current building control systems are becoming inadequate to elegantly support the ever increasing number of devices in the home. An architecture to support intelligent device control that adapts to the behavioral patterns of a user is proposed and evaluated. The results are encouraging, hopefully providing a catalyst for future implementations.
