Analysis of an adaptive ski mechanism

Public

The objective of this project was to develop an analysis of an adaptive "sit-ski" mechanism and determine ski characteristics that will yield better performance for professional disabled athletes. A Kevin Bramble modified Grove sit-ski was analyzed using Pro/Engineer. Ski properties were analyzed by measuring the pressure distribution and stiffness of various GS racing skis.
