The rise of nationalism in Taiwan

This paper explains the rise of nationalism in Taiwan. This is done through the analysis of foreign powers on Taiwan and how these powers shaped Taiwan's development into a modern power. Special attention is given to the Japanese occupation from 1895 to 1945.
