This project deals with the evaluation of the current quality control release process of ink sheets at Polaroid Corporation. Using statistical process control tools, such as control charts and the process capability ratio, we determined that the process is out of control and not capable. To try to account for the variation that exists in the process, we ran appropriate designed experiments. From our analysis, we offered recommendations and conclusions on how Polaroid can improve their quality control release process.
