The Global Technology and Operations Group at Deutsche Bank sponsored this project to determine which help-authoring tool was most appropriate to use in the development of a help system for eSPEAR, their state-of-the-art, online, global-transaction application. Over the course of two months, we identified the needs of users, researched the commercially available products, quantified the benefits of providing a help system, presented our recommendations to upper-level management, developed a prototype using the chosen tool, and created evolution and maintenance plans for future implementations.
