Using throughput as a predictor, statistical models were developed to create benchmarks for space planning and staff allocation in allied health facilities. The results were formally summarized in a generic brief to guide new developments and redevelopments of acute allied health facilities. An idealized block layout was created to serve as an application of the brief.
