A Java-based object translation system

Public

Detailed in this paper is the design and development of a universal adapter capable of seamlessly translating between diverse data and representations, including but not limited to XML, COBRA IDL, and SQL. This project solves the perpetual problem of sharing data between collaborative applications which employ otherwise incompatible structures. An extensible system, independent of these various formats, was implemented utilizing introspection and reflection techniques. A GUI that visualizes the objects' relationship was concurrently created to expedite the definition of custom translations.
