Critically sick patients being transported to the hospital by ambulances often receive lifesaving medications from paramedics. However, there is a growing concern about administering incorrect medications or incorrect dosage of medications to critically sick patients. To improve the administering of drugs to patients in an ambulance, a new reference and medication storage system is proposed. This system determines the dosage calculations, provides medication indications and contraindications, and securely stores medications.
