Vacuum tube amplifier

Public

This project focused on the non linearity of vacuum tube amplifiers and tried to correct this problem. The method used to linearize the response was to use a PIC microcontroller to sample the output of the vacuum tube, create an inverse of the function, and add the inverse to the original function to eliminate the distortion. The system built to accomplish this reduced distortion. The project was successful in implementing this idea and making it into a working circuit.
