Role of technology in promoting political ideology.

open in viewerThis project examines the relation between political organizations, the media, and citizens. After highlighting the role of ideology in political communication, the project focuses on the uses, positive and negative, of traditional and current technologies in political communication, e.g., the press and television. From interviews the project discusses the potential for political persuasion via the Internet. The project contains a case study of a student political group's experiences with these media, and makes recommendations toward improving its communication.
