Automotive speech recognition tools & processes

Public

This project is an attempt to quantize the performance of speech recognition engines in order to be able to compare different engines for suitability in an automotive environment. Our team created an objective repeatable process for testing speech recognition engine performance. This included creation of testing signals, and the development of software that interfaces with speech recognition engines, tests them automatically, and calculates performance statistics. We then used our software and process to test speech recognition engines from two different manufacturers.
