Characterization of the temperature dependence of the resistivity of CVD diamond films

Público

Diamond is a diverse material whose extreme properties make it ideal for many applications. In order to study the temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity of CVD diamond, a housing for low temperature applications was designed. Using an existing apparatus, along with a precision electrometer, the results of previous research were re-evaluated in order to determine the existence of a second conduction mechanism at lower temperatures.
