Feedback from users is an important component of an organization's ability to understand how to improve their processes and products. Online feedback platforms are a common tool used to gather information from users, but the design decisions made in these platforms have a large impact on how useful the platform is for the organization and for its users. This IQP, sponsored by WPI's User Experience and Decision Making (UXDM) lab, assessed the feasibility of implementing a centralized feedback system to aid ideation and collaboration in the WPI community. A review of existing industry feedback platforms was conducted to identify key features and design choices, as well as their impact on the usage of these platforms. Based on this review, the ID8 system was designed as an implementable framework for a future feedback system.
