Our project focused on the legal and illegal turtle trade between the United States and Hong Kong, in particular the Eastern Box Turtle. Endangered turtle species are being removed from their natural habitats, sent overseas to be sold as pets or food. We interviewed government and non-government employees to learn about the legal and illegal turtle trade and reviewed relevant laws and legislation focusing on United States. We created social media posts, a story map video, and this report to help educate the public in an effort to mitigate the illegal turtle trade. We provided our recommendations to the World Wide Fund for Nature Hong Kong. %[ 2021-05-03 %9 Interactive Qualifying Project %~ Digital WPI %W WPI
