PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerEnergy extraction from the Kármán Vortex Street could serve as a viable alternative power source for remote water-based electrical applications. This project focused on creating a device utilizing thin- film piezoelectric transducers to generate hydropower on a pico- scale level. Testing resulted in a range of measured dominant frequencies, and an average power output of up to 100 nanowatts.
