This project was commissioned by the package delivery firm RPS, Inc. Onsite work was completed at RPS's Hartford distribution hub located in Willington, CT. The main goal of this project was to improve operations at the hub using a simulation model. The goal was accomplished by performing time studies to gather data, developing the model utilizing the ProModel software, and validating the model with historical data. The model was used to analyze idles times, costs, and efficiencies of the processes.
