This project was performed in Puerto Rico at Janssen Ortho LLC, a pharmaceutical subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. The project team assisted Janssen in working toward compliance with ISO 14001, the environmental management system standard. We interviewed managers, created and distributed questionnaires, analyzed and quantified the information, and created Environmental Responsibilities sections for all job descriptions at Janssen. We also made recommendations for Janssen to improve the environmental training, awareness and competence for all employees.
