Tourette Syndrome is a neurodevelopmental disorder that causes tics. One promising treatment for TS is Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), which is not widely available due to lack of specialized practitioners. To address this need, we developed an app, ‘CBIT Buddy’, which included videos and interactive quizzes made with guidance from professionals at the Tourette Association of America, that demonstrate the basic techniques involved in CBIT, with the goal of making CBIT more widely available.
