open in viewerMany argue that DNA fingerprinting is the greatest tool in forensic science today, but this has not always been the case. This project investigates the process of DNA typing, describes how it is executed, and investigates its route to become a powerful technology in forensics and in the US legal system. Finally, the authors of this report provide their own conclusions about this powerful new technology.
