This Major Qualifying Project examines the feasibility of designing and building a virtual classroom for use in the WPI distance learning program. The virtual classroom would be a computer representation of WPI's campus in which students would be able to attend lectures and interact with both other students and professors. Our research determined that such a system is unfeasible; consequently, alternative options for a more realistic system were explored.
