Separation improvement project for Wachusett Brewing CompanyPublic
Wachusett Brewing Company (WBC) is looking for an improved and higher capacity liquid/solid separation process, because of future plans to expand production. The WPI MQP team investigated and analyzed alternative separation methods, including the already owned Alfa Laval centrifuge, to see which methods, if any, would be feasible for WBC. From the investigation the team reached some conclusions, and was able to make recommendations to WBC.
