Non-linear spring systems for managing loads in soccer shoesPublic Deposited
The objective is to design a component for soccer shoes to decrease ACL injuries. This is accomplished by incorporating nonlinear springs in the sole. By using axiomatic design and computer modeling, design features were selected to manage loads.
