A project sponsored by General Electric Aircraft Engines concerning the development of an effective accounting mechanism was initiated in September 2003 to be completed by a four student group. The project involved all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle, ultimately leading to the development of a custom application for the company. Final products included a Visual Basic application supported by a Microsoft Access database, report, user manual, and multiple presentations.
