The purpose of this Major Qualifying Project was to study the ways that industrial mathematics projects could be used in the classroom. The project also focused on the library of projects already created by faculty and teachers working with the Center for Industrial Mathematics and Statistics at WPI. The project resulted in the creation of two rubrics. One was a classification rubric for industrial projects; the other was a student assessment rubric created for teacher use.
