The synthesis of N-acetyl-and-N-benzoyl-3-amino-1-methylpyrazole

Public

Following a procedure for the synthesis of 3-amino- 1-methylprazole, the proposed research was to perform two N-acylations upon the amine group of 3-amino-1- methylpyrazole. Acetic anhydride was used to synthesize 3-(N-acetylamino)-1- methylpyrazole, and benzoyl chloride was used to synthesize 3-(N-acetylamino)-1-methylpyrazole. Verification that the synthesis of 3-(N-acetylamino)- 1-methylpyrazole and 3-(N-acetylamino)-1-methylpyrazole were performed can be found in the NMR spectra and melting point data.
