This project studied the evolution of plate armor from the 1350s and 1700s and used that knowledge to analyze a composite suit of the mid-1500s in the collection of the Higgins Armory Museum. We also created a video documentary of our suit analysis that describes the main features of the suit, and a database of armor artifacts that were compiled during our research. In addition, we created a website to house all of the information for the public.
