This project is a four-week stock market simulation with the goal to learn about the stock market. Two simulations were running concurrently one using the buy and hold strategy and the other using the scalping strategy with $100000 initial principal. A stock market simulator that uses real stock data to best replicate investments was used to run the two simulations. For the 4-week periods, the buy-and-hold strategy saw a -0.495% (- $495) loss, and the scalping strategy profited 1.47% ($1470). Over the course of the simulation the S&P500 grew by roughly 4.38%. The lessons learned from this simulation will be used to inform future investments.
