Control loop for the PANSAT power subsystem

Public

The PANSAT satellite has been provided with a self-managing power subsystem that will respond to variation in the batteries' voltage. This power scheme drives all substations during sunlight and eclipse. The first part of the power subsystem is a SEPIC converter which regulates the voltage supplied by the solar cells as well as provides current to charge the batteries. The unique aspect is the Control Loop that adjusts the duty cycle of the SEPIC according to the batteries' voltage.
