Designing a Weather Lab for Turn Back Time
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerPlay-based learning is an innovative teaching technique that serves as an alternative to traditional lecture-based teaching styles. Turn Back Time (TBT) has worked tirelessly to combine play-based learning with outdoor learning and create an accessible style of teaching for a wide range of ages. TBT guides students through a variety of topics such as animal care, garden maintenance, outdoor conservation, and more. One area of study that TBT lacked proper facilities to teach was weather. To increase the versatility of TBT’s curriculum, our team worked to create interactive weather labs, a weather news station, and learning modules that effectively provide learning opportunities in various weather concepts.
