This report, prepared for WPI's Management Department, determines whether or not a concentration in Financial Engineering would benefit WPI's course of studies. Financial Engineering has expanded into one of the most important risk management fields in the financial industry. By interviewing professionals and professors in the Financial Engineering field, and comparing existing Financial Engineering programs, this project attempts to make an educated decision about the feasibility of such a program, and prepare a curriculum in accordance with WPI's academic requirements.
