USB based digital spectrum analyzer for the PC platform
PublicThe Bose Corporation commissioned this Major Qualifying Project (MQP) team to build a data acquisition tool for internal project development. This device would receive digital signals in proprietary and I?S formats, and send output to a PC via the USB port. The team at WPI designed a digital spectrum analyzer that not only would convert those types of signals to the USB format, but also provide a graphical user interface for additional data analysis. This was achieved through background technical research, consulting with the team's advisor and liaison, and discussions with representatives of Texas Instruments.
