A Study of the Influence of Surface Roughness on Heat Transfer
PublicA silicon based sand paper was used to polish the test materials. The surface textures of the aluminum samples were measured using an Olympus LEXT 3100 scanning laser microscope. Area-scale analysis was also used to determine at which scale the most heat transfer was observed.
